These are our Board Guidelines and we expect all our members to read and obey them while reading and posting at T2CHK.....

Titus 2 Christian Homekeepers is dedicated to uplifting the Name ofJesus Christ to the glory of God. Our ministry is to women who desire a closer relationship with the Lord Jesus Christ and who need encouragement and help in maintaining a godly household, and in growing closer to the Lord Jesus. This is our calling and our joy!

We hope to partially accomplish this by offering a forum where ideas and thoughts can be exchanged and to offer teaching and offer accountability from older godly women who have been called by the Lord to teach in this format.

The Titus 2 Christian Homekeeper Message Board will be closed from 10 pm eastern time Friday evenings until 10 pm eastern time Sunday evenings. Our hope is that this will encourage you to spend time worshipping the Lord and that it will give our moderators time off to worship and fellowship with their friends and families.   Sylvia and Traci are available in case of emergencies via email.

The Titus 2 Christian Homekeeper Message Board Posting Guidelines

*Please follow the guidelines.   Your post may be edited or deleted if you do not. Repeated violations will be cause for banning

We ask you to remember that you are a guest on our board.
We are listening and following the direction of the Lord God in all of our endeavors. We are open to comment and critique, however we will not compromise the content of the board or the board rules.

It is your responsibility to read these guidelines and understand them before posting. If you are posting, we assume that you have read and understand the Board Guidelines and we will require you to obey the rules while you are on the board.

**The Administrators reserve the right to delete or ban any member from posting if they deem that the member is violating any of the rules, move and edit posts and make decisions to preserve the integrity of the board.

We ask that you use these scriptural principles when posting on this board. They are the principles that we as moderators hold each other to and we hope that you will follow them too:

1 Corinthians 13:4-7 - "Charity suffereth long, and is kind; charity envieth not; charity vaunteth not itself, is not puffed up, Doth not behave itself unseemly, seeketh not her own, is not easily provoked, thinketh no evil; Rejoiceth not in iniquity, but rejoiceth in the truth; Beareth all things, believeth all things, hopeth all things, endureth all things."

Galatians 5:22-26 - "But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, longsuffering, gentleness, goodness, faith, Meekness, temperance: against such there is no law. And they that are Christ's have crucified the flesh with the affections and lusts. If we live in the Spirit, let us also walk in the Spirit. Let us not be desirous of vain glory, provoking one another, envying one another."

Ephesians 4:29 - "Let no corrupt communication proceed out of your mouth, but that which is good to the use of edifying, that it may minister grace unto the hearers."

Please be respectful and polite to your moderators and administrators. These ladies give a lot of their time, study and prayer to you and love you very much!

"Obey your leaders and submit to their authority. They keep watch over you as men who must give an account. Obey them so that their work will be a joy, not a burden, for that would be of no advantage to you." Hebrews 13:17

*****How to discuss Controversial Topics on the T2CHK Message Board*****

Please, please, do not insist that your personal convictions are to be held by every Christian. We believe that God does require things of some of His children that He does not require of others. This includes but is not limited to eadcoverings, dresses only for women, long uncut hair, vegetarianism, veganism, home churching and homeschooling.  There is ample room in the Body of Christ for all godly convictions.

Discussion about God's Word invariably leads to disagreement and debate over doctrine. This is not what we are called to at Titus 2 Christian Homekeeper and it can easily overshadow our purpose of teaching women to love their children and husbands and be keepers of their homes. However we aknowledge the fact that very often our beliefs about doctrine and theology will have some effect on how we live our lives as women and make the choices we are asked to make in life.

For this reason, we ask you to remember this when discussing doctrine and theology:

  1. 1. Your personal convictions may not be those of other Christians, you are welcome and encouraged to share them but please don't make them an issue.
  2. Speak to the women at the message board the way you would speak to them if you had just met them or were speaking to them in person, face to face. Be kind, gentle and loving.
  3. Don't try to have the last word just for the sake of arguing. If you have stated your position, you probably don't need to do it again and again.
  4. Would you say what you are about to post to this lady in person? What would Jesus say? Think over your post before you post it. Don't allow your emotions to control you! You are in control of what you say. Even a hard truth can be said with tact and in humility.
  5. There are women from all walks of life on our board. Please be courteous and kind, forbearing and understanding. We are all sinful people who are hopefully trying to walk in the Light. Sometimes we fail. Since we are not a Church nor do we function as a Church, we do not discipline our members for sin. We will address sin in our members lives if it is opened up for conversation by that member. We will hold our members accountable only to the extent that they have allowed. We will always extend grace and prayer for our members and we hope our members will pray for us too!

Keep the conversation holy, pure and worthy of God's women. Please keep the conversation on track in each forum as much as possible.

The Titus 2 Christian Homekeeper Message Board is an interactive ministry. You must participate in order to remain active. You should be posting at least once every three weeks and participating in the conversations. If you find that this is too often for you to post, please let Karen know and she can delete your membership. You are welcome to come back and rejoin at any time.
